Gentle and Restorative Yoga is a trauma informed practice that emphasizes balancing the nervous system and coming home to your body. This class combines gentle movement and stretching, strength building postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. It includes traditional Restorative Yoga postures and incorporates the use of props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks to help support the body in extended postures. Gentle and Restorative Yoga is suitable for all levels, as well as those with chronic illness, cancer, or injuries. This class is also idea if you are beginning or recommitting to your practice.

*Please arrive to class with props for Restorative postures: 2 blocks, 1-2 blankets, a bolster (or pillows), and a strap.
